Imaging System Analysis
Question: Describe about the Imaging System Analysis? Answer: Introduction: Imaging system is the process of removing the use of the paper form in office and allowing more smooth business process by digitizing it. Document imaging and Electronic imaging is those key technologies which enables an user to scan the hard copy of the document into computer system and stores them in digitized format. These useful technologies enable users to enter data of the data (metadata) into system utilizing some storage technologies which saves data in digitized version from the hard copy of the document. Here, this document will focus the imaging systems, which are developed for the health care information system. Imaging system in health care information system includes PACS (Picture Archiving System), Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS), RIS (Radiology Information System), cloud imaging and VNA (Vendor Neutral Archive) for department, communities, enterprise. Gantt chart on Imaging System built on health information system: A Gantt chart consists of series of the horizontal line to indicate the workflow through the entire time span. It allows the under mention step of process of reviewing the entire task within a single chart, these are- Identification of various activities Starting and ending of various activities. Lasting period of each activity. Places where activities are overlapping each other. Starting and ending of the entire project (Smartsheet, 2015). As simpler version, Gantt chart creates the whole project scheduling as it is done on graph paper, or more complexly with the application of the excel or Microsoft project. A Gantt gives clear description on task distribution, according to the time, though it does not indicate the dependencies among the task, so one cannot tell the failure of one task is responsible for other task. In context, it also a fact that, Automated Gantt chart store more information on task, such as specific task assignment to a specific individual, procedures notes. It may happen that charts can be changed accordingly with the change of the task schedule (Carestream.com, 2015). Gantt chart gives three types of relationship among the sequential task: Finish to start: Before the end of the previous and also related task FS task cannot start its job. Though, they can start later. Start to start: Until the start of the preceding task take place, SS task cannot start Finish to Finish: until the end of preceding task take place, FF task cannot perform. A Gantt chart is given below in order to justify imaging systems work: Implementation of system follows some sequence of steps in order to maintain the system development and measure the work flow. Here Gantt chart is only showing only the relationship among the activities, not the interdependencies. References Carestream.com,. (2015). Carestream Health, Inc..
